Seems that all these plans are trying to treat the symptoms of healthcare expenses instead of getting to the root causes.

The lawyers in this country have bankrupted our medical system with frivolous lawsuits... which caused liability insurances to skyrocket for medical personnel and facilities alike. Dr.'s used to be able to perform simple surgeries, etc. in their offices to keep down cost. Now you have to go through a specialist and surgical procedure with your local hospital to get a hangnail removed.

We cannot support freeloaders who get better medical access than the taxpayers who fund it....nor can we support all the illegals who come here.

Fixing/repairing these two problems would be a huge start on reforming our healthcare system.

There are in the can Republican bills many if not all of which include massive tort reform such as that in Texas

When the time arrives to start over, the material to land on their feet running is already at hand
