DOHA, Qatar (AP) -- The leader of the Islamist militant group Hamas has vowed to kidnap more Israeli soldiers to pressure the Jewish state to release Palestinian prisoners.
The comments from Khaled Mashaal come after the deal Hamas struck last year with Israel to swap an Israeli soldier held by Hamas for more than 1,000 Palestinian prisoners, including many jailed for helping carry out bombings.

Israel made a terrible decision to release these prioners! This will come back to haunt them for years!
Absolutely true, assuming that what happened in the past is forever doomed to play out the same way in the future, too.
But on the other hand, Israel could use the inevitable kidnapping(s) as a pretext to do to Hamas and all the other neighborhood rag outfits what they should have done all along - annihilate them.
Hoping to live long enough to see a rag-free world...
This might interest you. A good friend of mine, who is in Plans at MacDill, said that it is common knowledge amongthose in a position to know, that the Israeli pilots training for the strike mission against the Iranian nuke sites, will all be provided with suicide pills when they launch. Obviously, it’s each pilot’s individual choice whether or not to actually take it, but the consensus that has developed in the IAF is that any pilot captured by the Iranians would be far better off taking his own life. He would suffer horrendous treatment, and the Iranians would never exchange him..not for 10,000 Arab terrorists..
Is this a war crime? Where is Amnesty Internationale? Red Cross/Red Crescent? Not In My Name? The Nobel Committee?
Where is the worldwide outrage?
Liberals are so inconsistent.
It's them - and US or them, and I STAND WITH ISRAEL.
The moslems can do no wrong, so it is not a war crime. /s
