Drive through the ghetto from around 4am to around noon, not much going on.
I'm originally from NYC .... a few years ago we drove to NYC and went through Harlem about 5 in the morning.
My brother-in-law says, "This place don't look so bad." LOL ...

My understanding is that Harlem is nothing like it used to be...it has been somewhat "gentrified".

In fact, crime in Manhattan is very low compared to a couple decades ago. Chicago, though, is another story...
