When will he get schooled. So far he gets away with doing whatever he wants. He ignores laws, judges and subpeonas. Things the rest of us would be thrown in jail for. I completely understand why he continues—because he can.
Your assessment is completely correct.
Our entire system is based upon a presumption of virtue -- that people will be honest and live up to their contract, that people will tell the truth (as opposed to committing perjury) and that governmnent officials, in particular, will comply with the law.
This administration is not inclined to do that.
It is therefore incumbent on the other branches of government to rein them in. Which isn't easy -- given the separation of powers.
Clinton got away with a lot -- and hge was impeached (though not convicted). Obama is getting away with even more.
In the end, only one branch of government can bring malfeasance to a halt -- the voters.
