Just outside of Chicago - I would say there is equal chance that the “Hacking” came from inside, and the “Hacking” was merely someone turning their head for a few minutes.
The sign was 'hacked' leading me to believe they are referring to one of many electronic billboards that are posted along this stretch of road. I've driven by them many times and they usually carry messages about traffic, time to airport, warnings against drinking and driving...nanny signs lol
