We all know Romney will pic a bigger dud than he is so that he won't be outshined.
What makes anyone think Milt will make a bold choice in anything?

This is a train destined for a wreck. How conservative does the VP have to be to make voting for a liberal more agreeable?

It'll have to be a conservative who can 1) help Willard win back conservatives before November (a tall order) and 2) easily disassociate themselves from his sure-to-fail liberal administration in order to win the nomination from him after his one term.
Frankly I can't think of anyone talented enough.

To me Paul Ryan is the obvious choice and Bobby Jindal is the bold choice.
I would be delighted with either.

BULL-PUCKY... There is NOT ONE VP PICK, no matter how conservative or brilliant, that will somehow make Romney electable.
Romney and the GOP have handed themselves sure defeat in November, and the most despicable president ever, certain re-election.

I would never vote for Romney, not even if he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. No Romney. Never.

He truly needs a Sarah Palin, but she won’t be interested and I don’t blame her one iota!
He, and his minions with unlimited $$$$$ joined forces with the dems to destroy her personally and publicly!
If he wins, he loses and so does the USA!

I am totally indifferent to Romney’s VP pick, if he is the GOP nominee. I will be writing in Palin/West, DeMint/Bachmann, Perry/Cain, or some other pairing of acceptable options that the GOP leadership stifled because it’s Romney’s turn. Obama will carry my state in any case, but I’m not convinced that a socialist who hates America is much worse than a big government liberal who doesn’t hate America but also doesn’t understand limited government or personal freedom. Congress will set the limits on how much damage either of them does to our country, and I’m not convinced there’s a dime’s worth of difference in the long run between the exceptionally grave damage that Obama will want to inflict on our country and the significant damage that Romney will inflict because of his sincere belief that government makes everything better.
