To hell with the GOP-e. Barring a miracle, they got their big government, unconstitutional mandate loving, socialist abortionist Obama-lite RINO on the ballot, they can now get him elected.

We are the resistance!!

Shove him down our throats today, we shove him up your donkeys in November!!

I can see November from my house!!

Sorry Jim. I will not be part of Obama’s re-election. I will vote for the Republican candidate as many times as I can. Then I will figure out the next step...

If Obama was to go dictator, it could spell trouble, meaning angry blowback.

There HAVE been angry blowbacks, almost over and over since 2005 and at least SOME of the GOP has heard us. NONE of the progs even care, especially Obama and Holder.

Conservatives were duped by the GOP. Time for conservatives to leave the R's and new party of C's.

Decades of family and friends that fought to keep Communism from spreading throuout the world, and now we'll see it get established from within our own country. R's and D's helping it along.

The media disassembly of Mitt Romney will now commence.

And they won't even have to lie about one single thing in order to do it.

First we must make a stand ar the covention.

We need to do so before that. There has to be a prominent, articulate conservative willing to run as a third-party candidate. The quicker that candidate gets into the race and organized, the greater percentage of the vote he or she can garner.

I'd like to see all of Ricks delegates switch to Newt, but likely will not be the case.

I agree. If history repeats itself Rick Santorum will request that his delegates all go to Mitt Romney.

Apparently, the ‘majority’ in this country have chosen the dark path. So be it.

So. No rebellion for you. So, what would you have conservatives do then? The same thing we did in ‘08 which was to hold our nose and vote for a RINO? That got us Obama, but I’m guessing you don’t think that’ll happen again, huh?

Go ahead and vote GOP or nothing. Rove, Mittens, Boehner and the rest of the RINO’s appreciate your support.

But as for conservatives like me? We will NOT support a party that has betrayed us.

I agree with you. I will be voting country over party in this election, and against Obama. Romney is many things, and is definitely not my first choice, but he has at least one redeeming feature... he isn’t Obama.

Besides, I’m tired of passing by Obama’s picture in my work space every morning. I want somebody (ANYBODY!) different hanging there.

Jim’s old and, more importantly, he lives in California (I think). Truth be told, it doesn’t matter what he does because California is so hard left their electoral votes are guaranteed to go to Obama.

Those of us who are young, live in swing states, and recognize that this election is a choice between a Marxist ACTIVELY TRYING TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY and an at-best moderate Republican don’t have that luxury. We can’t complain that our candidate doesn’t meet our ideological purity test, so country be damned.

We who refuse to vote for Romney -must- unite behind a third party. If we don’t, we’re no better than the party-line Republicans who cry about the need for change but do nothing about it.

I know that some people will say “Cato, this is an election year, so this is the WORST time to start a third party.” I’ve got news for you: there never will be a ‘good’ time. Most people don’t pay attention to politics in off-years, so we’d probably be ignored if we waited. If we do it during an election year, yes, we’re going to split the vote in certain cases.

Nobody ever said that change would be easy, but it’s necessary. Again, if we do nothing, we’ll accomplish nothing. We’ll be no better than the Mittwits.

We need to strike while the iron is hot so we’ll get exposure. If we can get exposure, we can make progress. As difficult a fight as this will be, the only other option, trying to change the GOP from within, is a proven failure.

Romney will move the Republican party “permanently to the left?” Nonsense. Richard Nixon was just as liberal as Mitt Romney. And 6 years after he resigned we elected Ronald Reagan.

Nothing is permanent in politics. Relax Francis.

At this point, I think Obama would beat everybody in the race or out of the race unfortunately.

First time I ever saw “dictator” and “angry blowback” used in the same sentence at least without such words as “prison camps” or “death squads”

Well said, sir.

We did the right thing, held our noses and voted for McCain.

What did that get us? Absolutely nothing. Time to bail on a party that does not represent us and what we stand for.

I am VERY seriously considering moving my registration over to the Constitution Party

I moved to "Independent" a number of years ago. Switched back to R to vote in this primary - now I'm wondering what on earth I was thinking...
