To hell with the GOP-e. Barring a miracle, they got their big government, unconstitutional mandate loving, socialist abortionist Obama-lite RINO on the ballot, they can now get him elected.

We are the resistance!!

Shove him down our throats today, we shove him up your donkeys in November!!

I can see November from my house!!

Dont forget the ever popular radical Islamic uprisings in Egypt and Lybia.

I don’t think McCain was out to bankrupt the coal industry.

We wouldn’t have all of the Solyndras going tits up.

He wouldn’t ahve imposed a moritorium on oil drilling in the gulf.

There wouldn’t be a nation-wide push for high-speed rail boondoggles.

We wouldn’t have massed Muslim prayer meetings on the DC Capitol Mall.

I disagree with you on teh SCOTUS judges. They would have been McCain liberal Republicans. I however don’t think you expressed it well. Kagan and Sortamywhore are not liberals, they are progressives, communists, marxists. I would gladly take lmere iberals over them.

Time will tell. Hey, I'm with you. It sucks. Big Time (God Bless VP Cheney). All we can do at this point, IMHO, is (1) hope for a good VP a la Sarah; and, (2) elect conservative Reps and Senators to keep Romney in line and to his promises (I know, I know) as best as possible. He won't be as bad--by any stretch--as the lazy, dumb, Marxist, Islamist supporting piece of garbage in there now. I'm think I'm gonna be pretty scarce around here for a while until the VP thing shakes out. It does suck though. Who woulda thunk it. ~sigh~.

You're not with me.

You've compromised any conservative values to support a lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal.

You, in effect, have joined the GOP-E in their war against the Tea-Party.

Not targeted to anyone in particular:

A vote for Romney is a vote against everything conservatism stands for. It is every bit as bad as a vote for Obama since you get the same result. A liberal. Either way America is toast.

Sticking with one’s principles is what this country was founded upon - regardless of the outcome. I defy any “I will vote for Romney because...” type to factually refute that statement.

Anyone willing to support a man that supports gay marriage, abortion et all is no conservative and religion has squat to do with it. Nor can they claim otherwise based on conservative principles.

Bottom line. Fear rules them. Not what is right, not what is just. Fear. The FEAR of Obama will lead them to vote for a man with a track record of hostility to conservatives every bit as great as Obama.

His record does not lie. Yet many here willingly lie to themselves. Because the truth scares them so much.

And as his been said, this site in it’s introductory statement BEGINS with “God”. Romney begins, and ends with “Mitt”.

Personally I’ll write in Palin, Newt or myself before I vote Romney. And the cards can fall where they may. On a simmilar thread a few days back a man in fear of Obama said that was a “John Wayne” attitude or some such and this was the real world.

“MY” real world does not include voting for liberals even if there’s official GOP support involved. My real world is one where integrity matters and cowards do not. And lastly, my real world is a place where a country willing to vote for a liberal in republican clothing is not the America I want, nor remember.

I honestly think the GOPe likes to be out of power.

I concur...nothing changes for THEM...the champagne tastes just as good regardless of who holds the reins of power. Nothing will change in Washington...nothing. We, the people, are being played for fools.

I agree. This is not an election we can afford to throw away by sitting it out.I respect Jim but I think This is wrongheaded. We cannot afford another 4 years of Obama.

Your right.

That is why I can not support Romney either.

What would help immensely would be if Romney were to select a real, dyed-in-the-wool conservative as his running-mate.

That worked with Palin, it won't work again.

You nailed it. I’m not convinced Romney is trying to flat out destroy our Republic. I KNOW that is Obama’s goal and he is going to succeed in his 2nd term, absent veto-proof FOP majorities in both houses.

A 4 year old knows the right choice here.

if Romney were to win, he would govern exactly how he did in MA

Romney didn't "govern" in MA; he was a Republican figurehead. MA is "governed" by liberal Massh*les.

The middle class is desperate and furius. Obama is toast. Romney will be president. He doesn't even need our measly Freeper votes.

The majority of conservatives that don't visit conservative internet sites, I believe, will vote for Mittens. On my street alone, 90% of them voted for Bambi last time & they are all fed up; all say they will vote republican this time.

Many dems who are not as liberal as what has been thrown at them these past Zero years, will vote for mittens! Zero hasn't lost his base, but he's lost less liberal dems & independents!

Many of my neighbors are from the old Dem party, they do not relate to these radical & immoral Dem beliefs!

I agree, because the larger issue is - do you want a government full of Obama's political appointees running everything - including his Czars? And do you want Supreme Court that gets tipped badly when two Justices retire in the next 4 years?

No thanks. Though Romney might not be perfect, who ever is a perfect candidate? Personally, I'd prefer Romney over Obama because at least I get a large cadre of Republicans running every Government agency. A respect for and understanding of our military might. And a court that tips 5-4 (or better) in my direction.

God Bless you Jim. I will never bend to vote for Mitt. The sooner Conservatives stop voting for Statists such as Mitt, the sooner the GOP will realize they cannot ram these Socilists down our throats.

All this scaremongering about Obama destroying our Republic doesn't bother me. With Mitt, the destination will be exactly the same, only delayed.

What Obama would do with a second term is likely increase the power and scope of the State to such an extent that it may start to collapse under it's own weight.

The sooner we hit the bottom the sooner we can roll back government in a big way. Socialism is a cancer that grows and consumes Capitalism and Freedom.

My study of history teaches me that Liberty will flower dramatically once Socialism reaches it's endgame. We are approaching that time.

Electing Mitt would be a false victory and certainly risk destroying the Conservative power in Congress. The RINOs and RATS would certainly, under Mitt's guidance increase the power of the State.

Liberty is the endgame for Conservatives. With Mitt, the State will continue to grow in power and scope. Let us not be scared into voting for the lesser of two evils.

Romney is like a caricature of an evil rich Wall Street Republican from central casting from a leftist Hollyweird Hack. Leaving the dog on the roof, building a big new mansion during a campaign while saying things like “I’m not concerned about the poor”.

Then the Obama campaign and leftists will hit him over the head with his leftwing record from Massataxes to turn off Republican voters. This guy will be the butt of jokes. “What does Mitt stand for? Depends on who is asking”.

There is no way this guy has a chance. We could be seeing the makings of a landslide for Obama in November. I think the GOPe (GOP elite) planned it this way.

Like hell he didn't.

He governed as a left-wing, Progressive Liberal.

I've posted a lot of articles that prove that point in spades.

I understand your anger - I can’t stand Romney. But I hate Obama more. And I love my country too much to give him another 4 years to be “more flexible” about destroying it. I despise the Republican party establishment but as much as I dislike Romney, I don’t believe he is a Marxist like Obama is. Yes, he is more liberal than any of us would like. But I don’t believe he would actively try to destroy this country like Obama is. I don’t know what purpose not supporting Romney serves except to punish the country.
