Romney wasn't shoved down the throats of Republicans. He is the one left standing after the conservative candidates withdrew because their total 'delegate counts' didn't match up to his. Now, that may be because there were several conservatives in the race, but the upshot is, we got the candidate that the plurality of primary voters chose.

He may not be the candidate that you or I preferred, and I didn't particularly like him when he was Governor of MA, but he will be head and shoulders above Obama. I do not want the US to have to endure four more years of that man, and if we sit the election out, that's exactly what we'll get.

Yes, electing more conservatives to the House and Senate will be crucial, but if they're having to fight against Obama for the next four years, they will be useless. And if Obama gets to appoint another couple of Justices to the Supreme Court, we can kiss our rear ends goodbye as a Representative Republic.

“Romney wasn’t shoved down the throats of Republicans.”

If you can’t see that he was, there is no point in any further discussion with you.

I have said this time and time again, for Romney to win the election, he will have to do it without my vote. Period.
