I’m at a loss here, did they do this during
school hours? Why is the school even envolved?
This should have been handled by the parents.

Agree with you 100%. This has nothing to do with the schools. Schools should only be able to expell or discipline for what happens on their property,,,NEVER for what happens when a kid is under the control of a parent.
