I don’t know this prosecutor, but she looks like a pretty tough Republican. Whether that means anything these days remains to be seen. But this strikes me as a lose/lose situation for a Republican governor. Whatever the decision, the press or his base will be all over him.

Either he offends the race baiters and the media, or he offends his conservative base, and maybe at least the conservative Cuban Hispanics, who are also part of his base.

I don’t think politics in general enters into this equation, except that if she is a pubbie, at least she might be pro-2A, and not indict him simply for using a gun.

A few weeks back his black friend Owens said we just may be hearing that thee was a struggle over the gun. I bet they did some tests on the gun.

Do you envision the bounty being dropped if he’s brought up on charges?

I don’t. They’ll still try to kill him.

George Zimmerman is hiding to save his life. He will be in even more danger if he’s not charged. Kind of a no win sit for him.

Unfortunately, the odds are that this is a prosecutors who wants to make a reputation by satisfying the mob. I expect charges.

Why wouldn’t a prosecutor want to talk to the person they’re supposedly investigating.

Because, once he has legal representation and they do it without his lawyers present, anything he says will be inadmissable at trial.

Those who think that charges will be brought mainly to satisfy the mob need to consider that there is NOTHING that will ever satisfy the mob, not even a dead Zimmerman. My hope is that the prosecutor bases her decision 100% on the facts and nothing more.

72 hours brings us to Friday afternoon. A nice long weekend of trouble if she declares she will not indict.

The infamous Friday document drop... for good or bad... I guess she does't want to be available for questioning.

That political tactic didn't work out so well for Nifong.

The infamous Friday document drop

If you want to bury some news then Friday afternoon is a good time to do it.

In this case Friday afternoon is the worst time to do it. The mob is ready to spring into action. They'll probably riot and loot no matter what the decision is.

The guilty conscience of Zimmerman will do the killing that's why he's running.

Quite the psychic tonight, aren’t you? On another thread you’re pretending to channel the spirit of Trayvon Martin.

You’re coming across as being unhinged. Get a grip.

You predictors of people rioting have been bitterly disappointed so far and I say that your wishes for riots will turn to ashes in your mouths as the conscience of Zimmerman forces him to tell the truth.

Prayer is solving this situation and the pressure of those prayers for justice is messing with Zimmerman's mind.

Why else would he run? He is trying to outrun the truth. But God is the final judge. And Zimmerman is standing in the docket.
