WASHINGTON (AP) — Attorney General Eric Holder said Wednesday that the Justice Department will take appropriate action in the killing of Trayvon Martin if it finds evidence that a federal criminal civil rights crime has been committed.
The attorney general made the comment in an appearance before a civil rights organization founded by the Rev. Al Sharpton.
Holder says the department will conduct a thorough and independent review of the evidence in the Martin matter.
The attorney general says one of the department's top priorities is preventing and combating youth violence and victimization.
The Justice Department launched an investigation of the killing three weeks ago.
Holder told the 14th annual convention of the National Action Network that "many of you are greatly — and rightly — concerned" about the shooting death of the 17-year-old Martin.

I had assumed Holder would be investigating the Black Pathers’ threats. But apparently that is not what he announced at Sharpton’s Brawley Brawl.

How much longer must we tolerate an Attorney General who treats (alleged) white on black crime differently from black on white crime? Or black on black, or white on white? Even if there were a roaring bull market and 3% unemployment, with peace on Earth, Eric Holder disqualifies Barack Obama from being reelected.

Until the last four years, I would never believed that I could have anger based on skin color.
I don't hate eric the red because he is black, I hate him because he thinks his skin color gives him special standing over the crackers.
If the riots come, it won't be like the MLK riots where the white folk went into hiding, I can guaran-damn-tee that ain't happening again.
Unfortunately, he's correct. "Might over Right". HIS people have the power to shove it to the crackers as long as the Obama/Holder inJustice Dept. calls the shots.
Wrong. His people make up less than 12% of the population and I doubt that all of them will walk in lock step with him if/when the race war starts.
If they truly get what they appear to be wanting, it will be a bloody but quick fight and a major genocide. But in the end we will have a few less thugs and a better country.

That's true, of course. I was referring specifically to the "Justice" Department's abuse of power through "legal" means, such as the stupid "hate crime" laws, and "civil rights" violations.
I think whoever brings up race first is the racist. Since it’s already been brought up, I’m not the first here.
