There was a gas station, Mario Brothers, and a car parts enterprise close to that corner, Broadway and Adams. I don’t remember precisely what was there.

At any rate, I used to frequent all three from time to time.

I haven’t seen Burbank Karl around for a while either. Hope all is okay with him.

Yes, things have changed in California, but if they changed once, they can change again.

We’re a nation of 310 million people. If less than 1/60th of that number moved into the state, they could turn things around there.

As Conservatives, we need to fight for the jewels of the nation.

In 2000, California was the fifth leading economic power in the world, behind the U. S., Japan, and a couple of others.

It’s a territory with some of the most diverse terrain on planet earth. Far more of it’s people are bedrock people than most people realize.

Outside of the San Fransisco and Los Angeles metropolitan areas, the state is quite Conservative. Nail the problematic counties down, and we’re back in business. We’d be back to having decent leadership, and on to fixing what ails us.

California is truly a crown jewel of the nation. It’s a shame to surrender it to the people who want it desperately for that very reason.

It truly is. I have fond memories of CA. It's a beautiful state. Two of my kids (navy brats) were born there.
