PRATTVILLE A Prattville man was given a three-day jail sentence Tuesday for contempt of court after his wardrobe didnt pass judicial muster.
LaMarcus D. Ramsey, 20, was in Autauga County Circuit Court to enter a plea on a charge of receiving stolen property. Circuit Judge John Bush took exception to the fact that Ramseys blue jeans were sagging too low. The three-day stint will be served in the Autauga Metro jail. You are in contempt of court because you showed your butt in court, a visibly irate Bush told Ramsey. You can spend three days in jail. When you get out you can buy pants that fit, or at least get a belt to hold up your pants so your underwear doesnt show.
Hehehe.
He’ll find out the REAL meaning of saggy pants soon enough.
If your mamma don’t teach ya, the judge will.
Lookin like a FOOL wit’cha pants on the ground!
All I can say is...
IT’S ABOUT TIME.

I understand that the ass-exposed style originated in prisons in which inmates were issued ill fitting, beltless pants that necessarily sagged.
I read on a thread somewhere that wearing the sags meant that the wearer wanted “prison sex” (I learn the oddest things on FreeRepublic!). Sounds like this guy is gonna get his wish ;-)
It's true. I would tell my students that and many wised up. Those who didn't were sent to the office to get zip ties for their belt loops. Of course, zip ties became a fad. Stuck on stupid.
‘What’s a yoot?’
Shoulda pantsed his a$$ so his roomies will see what’s comin’ to their house.YEAH!
It did originate in prison, but it is an inmates way of signaling that he is available as some other inmates bit*h and available for sex.
The rappers never brag about that part of the “keeping it real” sagging story.
