I’m just thanking my lucky stars I live in Hernando County and not Seminole County.

Was the dispatcher asking about Zimmerman’s address or Martin’s?

What do think he was going to say in public? Any honest lawyer would be appalled at the “justice for Trayvon” and “sweet family” remarks, not to mention other things.

“They Will Invade Your Home.

Home, Texas. Two men break into the house of an elderly couple. Guns are fired. Blood is spilled. When one of the intruders sues the homeowner and wins, the good people of Home take the law into their own hands. In a stunning case of backward justice fueled by the liberal media—the left-leaning U.S. President decides to make the town a test case to strike down the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution: Ban all guns in Home, Texas. And to enforce it, the newly formed national police force is sent in.

They Will Take Your Weapons.

Unarmed. Defenseless. Denied their civil right to bear arms, the citizens of Home are now easy targets for America’s closest enemies—the Mexican drug cartels who spill across the border every day. This time, they’ve set their sights on a secret military arsenal. But they need a base of operations. And there’s no place like Home.

But They Won’t Destroy Your Spirit.

Police Chief Wade Bonner is one of the few in town permitted to carry a gun. But Bonner knows that his friends and neighbors will never surrender their freedoms—or submit to an outside enemy, no matter how strong or ruthless. Soon they will be put to the test. Because the war is coming home. And Home is fighting back.”

Synopsis of the book “Home Invasion” by William and J.A. Johnstone. Not quite following the same lines as the Trayvon Martin case, but definitely some ominous parallels.

“And he has every legal right to force her to take it to a grand jury”

Please explain how Mr. Zimmerman or his lawyers could “force her” to do just that?

The burden of proof is pretty high in Florida. Just ask Casey Anthony.

Zimmerman's new lawyer, Mark O'Mara, would know all about that.

Is there a legal definition of “aggravated stalking”?

It is clear from Zimmerman’s phone call that Zimmerman didn’t know where Trayvon was and was afraid of him. It is clear from Trayvon approaching Zimmerman (rather than taking 2 minutes to walk home) - as both Trayvon’s girlfriend and Zimmerman said - that Trayvon was not afraid of Zimmerman.

When Zimmerman lost Trayvon and went to his pickup to go home the encounter initiated by Zimmerman was over.

The encounter that resulted in a death began when Trayvon approached Zimmerman. He asked why Z was following him. A reasonable question. Zimmerman asked him what he was doing in the neighborhood. Another reasonable question, which also answered why he was following him. To that point things were going as they should have. Nobody had any reason to be either afraid or violent at that point.

What happened after that is that somebody assaulted somebody else and a death resulted from the fight that followed. The only question that needs to be answered is who assaulted who, after Trayvon initiated that contact.

Unless the prosecutor can prove that Zimmerman threw the first punch or in some other way threatened Trayvon, she has no legal leg to stand on in making these charges.

Who was the absolute ass kissing piece of crap spokesman I saw in TV supposed to be defending him?

I assume he was assigned, rather than selected by Zimmerman?

There is a racially motivated lynch mob out there to get this guy.......

I don’t know that he is innocent, but most importantly the evidence thus far doesn’t put him anywhere near guilty......

he needs to get a good team around him and AGGRESSIVELY defend himself against the race warriors....he needs people out there fighting his corner or he’s finished. He needs this right now.

Folks, the prosecutor is going to dump this on a jury trial.

Let’s look at a few things. One, this is a homicide, with obvious racial implications not lost on the Sanford police department. Thus, they would have knocked on every door in that neighborhood that could even remotely provide evidence or testimony to the event.

I find it particularly impropable that someone came forward a month later with this suddenly damning evidence that makes Zimmerman a liar and a murderer, in spite of what other eyewitnesses have said. That evidence or the presence of a new witness would have been divulged. If it was so chithot, the Sanford police would have gone out and grabbed Zimmerman right after learning of it.

Second, NO ONE is required to allow someone to smash their head in, and it would not matter if Zimmerman ran up and suckerpunched Martin, rather the likely reverse. A punch to the face can and has killed but this is rare occurrence. But you ask any reasonable citizen if they think smashing someone’s noggin into concrete goes beyond mere fisticuffs, they are going to tell you “hells yes.” This constitutes serious physical injury or attempt and therefore falls under use of deadly force. Zimmerman chose not to die that day and is not guilty or murder or manslaughter.

Now ask yourselves as armed citizens. If you had come upon this incident with a larger, younger individual on top of another individual, smashing his head into the ground, while the one the ground is screaming for help, would you shoot to save his life?

I know what I would do.

Remember, the first head smash could be the killer, or the last one could be, or any in between. The point is, you can easily argue that if you had not intervened immediately, the person on the ground could have died.

“They’ll never get a conviction. Heck they won’t even get a jury.”

“They” didn’t have any evidence by which to prosecute, either.

All bets are off. ANYthing can happen.

His comment about not giving the other guy a heads up to your potential defense is right on the money.

Thank you.

Let us not forget....Zimmerman told the dispatcher that he had lost sight of Trayvon and that he was heading back to his car.

Trayvon came out of nowhere to attack Zimmerman, yes I know per Zimmerman’s account but evidence backs him up.

Trayvon COULD HAVE GONE HOME!

Let’s not forget that.

I figure the prosecutor went ahead with this charge for a couple of reasons and I’ll throw them out there. First, I been given this a lot of thought. I am a bit of True Crime buff so speculation and insight is not foreign to me.

But a young man DID die that fateful night. He died through no prior plan, of this I am convinced. And if you read my Blog post, I’m not convinced that Trayvon meant to kill Zimmerman either.

Something in me just gets a bit squeamish at the notion that a person can be killed by gunshot as this came down and NOTHING came of it.

Hold on. I know the Sanford police investigated everything and I’ve no doubt that they believed Zimmerman’s story and I too believe Zimmerman’s story.

But it seems to me that someone else, someone beyond the police, should have done some kind of official inquiry into that thing. I know grand juries aren’t convened unless to bring a first degree charge, if I understand all I’ve been reading. I don’t think anybody thinks George should be charged with first degree murder.

It does seem kind of....empty....like there should have been a more official inquiry than that of a small town police force. THAT fact, as much as anything, is lending fuel to the race baiters.

So that is one reason I think the special prosecutor came up with the charge, to fill in that great big chasm in the act and the investigation.

Second, the facts are, and will come out, that Trayvon attacked Zimmerman, I believe this. This fact alone will get Zimmerman off. TRAYVON COULD HAVE WALKED AWAY!

He could have went home, he could have just loped off from the source of his torment, George Zimmerman.

He didn’t. He attacked Zimmerman and this will be proved. As I’ve read, the funeral home found no other marks on Trayvon save the gunshot wound but this is just speculation now, nothing official. While Zimmerman had gashes on his head, grass stains on his back, was screaming for help.

The plan is to go ahead and charge Zimmerman, get the race baiters some fresh meat to heap up the base for Obama, then hold off as long as possible for a trial, until it’s forgotten.

This is all political, sad. Once we get the biggest race baiter out of office maybe this sort of thing will die down.

If I were Zimmerman, I’d change my name to something like, say, ‘Dylan’ and escape to Ireland!

I think the prosecutor didn’t take it to a Grand Jury because she was not sure of the outcome. To me this is very dangerous. It tells me if you defend yourself and the victim is black you will be charged. Even though it looks like Zimmerman was in imminent danger of bodily harm! If he is found innocent this will cost him millions to defend himself.

Politics is in complete control of the legal system, but we all know that.
The cowards in government don't want to tell the child like minds of savages they have had enough *rule of law bending* and can't have any more, but we all know that also.
The savages have no other ambition except to continue being a savage, it's easier than honest work to them and they are now fully encourage by the government, again we all know that.
Evil now permeates every aspect of government, ditto on all knowing that.

Enough of my rant/reality check.
Nuff Said.

But, based on what I’ve read with Police reports the guy at best was at manslaughter.

Maybe involuntary, from what's been reported.
