So why arent there attempts to get RINO Romney disqualified since hes not a natural born citizen ?
This would get rid on Romney, and push Gingrich to the top.
Also it would shine a light on the natural born citizen requirement for ALL presidential candidates......
Agreed, anybody but Obama. Case closed. So shoot me or purge me - whatever.
Tampa in August to battle for Newt? (If he gets that close?)
Count me in!
I agree completely. If this Republic survives... and she runs for president... I will fight through the gates of hell and back with her... on my sacred honor.

Your problem, Jim, is that you have standards.

Right on.
ROMmel would spend more time on the left side of the aisle than on the right. He is poison.
since I rarely post, banning isn’t a threat.
go ahead and drink your koolaid. the sane people will save your rear-ends and elect romney.
whoop-de-frickin-doooooo for you
“Anybody but Obama”: if Hilary Clinton had quit the Obama Administration a year ago, registered as a Republican, and won the Republican Presidential primaries, would you vote for her in the general election???
You dont have to like him, you dont have to trust him, dont have to vote for him but yes, Barack Hussein Obama is worse. And the platform of a major party candidate means something (as does his record).
You, my friend, are listening to Romney's rhetoric, and not looking at his deeds. You have to screw your eyes shut and place his promises above what his record shows, to enable yourself to go blindly forth in willing glee.
Your post is nearly laughable, because it pretends as though the facts about this man have never been seen or discussed at length here. You've managed to somehow bamboozle yourself, but you're going to have a hard time convincing others, unless they decide to follow you down the path of self-deception.
Romney has a record. Look at it. Consider it well, then ask yourself if you can willingly help such a man to win the presidency.
May HIS blessings return to you ten fold!

I am no fan of Mitt. There are several others who I would prefer to see as the GOP nominee.
No one is questioning your right to allocate FR's resources as you see fit. It is YOUR website. And I am in 100% agreement with your statement that we must work even harder to elect TRUE conservatives at all levels..local, state, as well as to Congress. Freepers should donate DIRECTLY whatever they choose to candidates they believe, and can support, and NOT to any campaign committees.
However, I must question your decision NOT to vote for Romney under any circumstances. I myself will hold my nose and vote for him. I would remind you of the following:
1. The next president may will get to nominate anywheres from 1-3 justices to the Supreme Court.
2. I am in Florida. There is no way on God's green earth that Obama can win the election without Florida. As his poll numbers have sunk, Dems are now,( probably to delude themselves) starting to float the idea that Obama has "alternate paths" to an Electoral College majority. This is lunacy. The idea that Obama could lose Florida, yet somehow win, say, North Carolina, and Indiana is at best, a 1000:l shot.
3. I would remind you of the 2000 election results.
Assume, hypothetically that you had been as vehemently opposed to Bush as you are to Romney.
If just 25% of Florida's 2000+ Freepers had taken your advice and NOT voted for Bush, then Al Gore would be president, and then, truly, God help these United States.
I would respectfully suggest that you re-examine and rethink your position in this regard.
Another 4 years of Obama in the WH, even with Republican control of both the House and Senate, will do irreperable harm to the country we both love. That is a given, an absolute. As bad as he has been to date, after November, when he won't have to be concerned with being re-elected, he will do far, far, worse. Heck, he told it to the Russians in the last "open-mike" episode.
You can't compare this to what you fear Romney "might" do if he is elected. There is no option, except to vote for Romney, albeit very grudgingly, and with many reservations.
I know you will. I’ll go to my grave supporting her.
HAPPILY!
Um... Because nobody is buying that crap?
And you are either rolling over and quitting or shilling for Mittens. TEA Party On!
Your tagline provides a possible clue.
That is an unlikely outcome, as conservatives have already started taking over the reigns of the RNC - doing so state by state. Liberal GOP whackjobs have been thrown out in the 2010 elections, and that will likely increase in this election.
The 2010 elections was a wipe-out for liberals within the GOP - and that purge will continue with the same or greater energy in the coming election.
Romney cannot stop conservatives working within the states, and it is the combination of the states that ultimately determines the makeup of what the RNC becomes - and the makeup of Congress itself.
It is arresting to imagine a Romney White House, inevitably filled with as many former Bain colleagues as each of his other public ventures have been: The PowerPoints, the 80-20 jargon, the clinical separation of decision-making from ideology, the detachment of those decisions from moral consequence, a persistent blind spot for people as people. It would represent the final ascension of a perfectly American type, one that has already remade the culture of business. I once asked a Bain colleague of Romneys how Romney thought of his own core competence. I think Mitt thinks hes good at being Mitt Romney, the colleague said.
No, it is not. I’ve been praying that God will save us from ourselves this election. Contested convention? You betcha!
