I will support the liberal Republican over the liberal Democrat, because they are not the same thing. Romney isn’t a socialist. Obama is.

OMG.... Is this truly the level of abject insanity that we've come to? If so, then we are truly lost, and the way forward will be paved with the blood of tyrants and patriots.

You sound like the radical John Brown abolitionists... practically salivating at the idea of armed insurrection. The patriots will be the folks working within the confines of our Constitutional republic while you scream about "the blood of tyrants and patriots" on the sidelines with the 1 percent of the base that will not decide the election. You're right; we don't need you. Why don't you follow Buchanan over to Reform (oh too late for that)? We'll do it without you.

If Newt does prevail at the Convention, it won't be due to the kind of rhetoric you're espousing.

"Whatever else history may say about me when I’m gone, I hope it will record that I appealed to your best hopes, not your worst fears; to your confidence rather than your doubts."
