[Some people are trying to be realistic here. Is Newt even running a real campaign anymore anyway? He’s flat broke to the tune of 4.5 million in the hole and appears to have remained in the race just to keep some media attention on his speeches. He’s said several times Romney is the likely nominee and that he is remaining in the race to help shape the platform. When Santorum dropped perhaps Gingrich was hoping for a resurgence, but his SuperPAC backer(s) are long gone and he simply doesn’t have the support to even compete. It looks to me like he is just out having some fun, enjoying what media attention he has left till it officially runs out.]

That would APPEAR to be accurate but allow me to forward an out of the box view and a question.

What is a valuable tactic a General use in a battle?

Would it not be to confuse the ‘enemy’ to where his attack is going to be launched?

Would the General also ‘let it be known’ that his resources are low so the ‘enemy’ won’t waste their ammunition on him?

As many have said on this VALUABLE thread...this battle isn’t over, we may have shed some blood in the process but it is righteous and it imperative we remain unbowed and resolute.

Glass half full.

So you are saying Gingrich isn't paying vendors on purpose, bouncing checks to get on the Utah ballot on purpose, filing incorrect financial statements demonstrating he isn't raising hardly any money on purpose, saying they spent too much in Florida and are now 4.5 million in the hole on purpose, using youtube spots clipped into ads instead of professionally made commercials on purpose, all to confuse the media into not taking his campaign seriously and therefore not covering anything he says? And this lack of coverage based on the assumption he is broke is supposed to do what? Help raise more money? Help get his message out?

Seriously? Is that what you are suggesting?

Yes he is. If only so many people like you wouldn’t sit on the sideline criticizing him instead of joining his campaign. And if he is “flat broke”, what are you waiting for to generously donate to his campaign?
