Everybody on EARTH deserves gun rights says Gingrich as he calls for a Second Amendment

Newt Gingrich may not have much of a shot at becoming President, but he is refusing to go quietly.

And while he is no longer talking about the colonising the Moon, he does have plans which cover the entire globe.

The former House Speaker told the National Rifle Association today that gun ownership should be a right for everyone in the world, and called on the UN to adopt a treaty enforcing this.

Newt has vision, more than most candidates. If the new media had more than 10 percent of the coverage of the MSM, it is likely that he would have been the GOP candidate.

Wonderful idea, but trying to get that through UN would be like trying to swim up the Niagara falls.
It needs to be combined with strong self defense laws.
Too many European countries are more concerned about the well being of the criminal and bystanders than the intended crime victim.
I love the idea of taking the debate to UN.
Let them explain why regular people are not trusted to defend themselves.

It might be more realistic to get the whole WORLD to have to broadcast and listen to Rush Limbaugh.

A little overdone, Newt.

It will never happen but I do agree with Newt. There are too many “governments” that are totally out of control right now. The people need to be able to defend themselves from these “governments”.

I agree; Newt is a visionary and will get my vote in my state’s upcoming primary. But trying to get the corrupt, criminal UN (useless nations) to adopt anything which makes plain common sense, like self-defense, is futile.

Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest.

Mohandas Gandhi.

Get ready for the horde, which appeared on an earlier thread about this speech, to appear and start wailing that Newt is all for the UN “giving us our gun rights”, when the UN just simply needs to go away.

False as can be.

Newt said the right of individual self defense is God given.

The UN and their fellow travelers here on our shores have the opposite view. The elites and the powerful can have guns, the common man cannot.

Newt challenged them to include the right of personal self defense in their vaunted list of human rights...which as we know is a joke anyways, since a bunch of thug countries mainly populate the UN.

But get ready.

Unless they tired of spewing their ignorant bile already, they’ll be here.

Newt was speaking to the NRA.

He was teaching.

Our truths are universal.

He was teaching.

He’s always teaching.

He told the truth. All men are created equal. They are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.

The right of personal self defense is an unalienable right from God.

Newt said that is not a truth only for Americans, and challenged the NRA to think more broadly about this right.

The lack of this right around the world, along with the lack of our other rights such as free speech, worship, assembly, redress of grievances etc, is why populations of other countries lurch from one dictatorship to another.

Teaching.

A teachable moment.

The UN pays lip service to some of our other rights, but it is totally against the common man’s right to bear arms.

Newt said in your face, UN.

People who are mischaracterizing this and knocking this need to wise up.

Newt is dead on the money on this one, the 2’nd amendment is an idea whose time has come all over the world. India for instance still has several tens of thousands of people killed every year by ****ing snakes. That cannot happen in a nation whose people are armed.

Newt has a command of history and politics like few others do or have had. He’s quite a teaching resource.

Too bad the RINOs won’t take his lessons to heart.

Palin and Gingrich have in common they both had to fight their own party members as well as the Democrats when trying to stop corruption in government.

“I love the idea of taking the debate to UN.

This is a grand idea. And, after the stuttering and stammering is done, we can pitch the whole damn lot of them out of the country. Brussels would be a better place for this quasi-government of elitist idiots and socialist malcontents.

Get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US. It’s the right thing to do.

I heard Newt on Cam and Company last night, driving home and I must admit .. not only have I never considered it before, but Newt's logic is perfect !!!

Our Creator did not create only Americans, and if we are endowed by our creator, that MUST include all of mankind.

Now, admit it ... we never did think beyond ourselves ... did we?
