I mostly like the way it's written in the Michigan constitution but would like to see sporting included.
The Constitution of the State of Michigan Article 1, Section 6 reads:
Every person has a right to keep and bear arms for the defense of himself and the state.
Its clear enough but the laws don't hold when you consider the fact that many people are denied on the basis of a past criminal record. As far as I'm concerned even former felons have the same right to defend themselves as anyone else. Dangerous felons should be in prison anyway
