Sad. He did live a VERY tough life though. I remember hearing him on Howard Stern back when I was a lib. He had a different kind of lifestyle.

Sad - 62 isn’t that old. His twin, Maurice, died a few years ago, and youngest brother Andy died of a drug overdose a long time ago. Barry, the oldest,(the handsome one) will be the only one left. The BeeGees made some great music.

Andy Gibb died of myocarditis, an inflammation of his heart, which had nothing to do with illegal drugs.

Maurice Gibb died, it’s a terrible tragedy. The doctors thought he had Night Fever and he thought he was Staying Alive.

Andy Gibb died of myocarditis, an inflammation of his heart I guess the Bee Gees never figured out "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart".

People love to rag on the Bee Gees because of the overexposure brought on with the whole Saturday Night Fever mania but personally I always thought they were great musicians and many people don't realize they were cranking out hits since the 1960s - more than a decade before their "disco" phase.

Some suggest that it was the drugs that weakened his heart.

I still love the Bee Gees. The brothers were very close, loved each other and their families. They had a very humble and hardworking beginning.
I like that about them.
So sad to hear this.

The Bee Gees were very much into harmony musically. So much so that they blended and made a sound as one.
You don’t see that much anymore.

There will never be another song like “Nights on Broadway”.
The Main Course Album is my favorite.

I am the opposite, I hated SNF, disco so bad I went back to my country music roots and only knew the Bee Gees for their 1960s music.
