I'd rather sell the Chinese our grain thus helping our farmers produce food. Not using tax dollars to artificially prop up grain market prices using methanol, the faux "green" energy substitute for gasoline.

We sold grain to the Soviet Union for years yet it didn't prevent it from falling apart. Back during his term, Jimmy Carter's boycott for the Soviet Union invading Afghanistan didn't hurt the commies but it was devastating to the American farmers. Squeezed by gasoline prices, inflation and no market for the product, many family farms went under thanks to "Jimmah's" feel good policy.
