From "THIS WEEK" roundtable:

VANDEN HEUVEL: But to pick up on what Cokie says, I think these discussions about Bill Maher and the Hilary Rosen, Ann Romney, much of that plays into a view that our politics are failing to deal with the massive deep-seeded problems this country has, whether it's, how do you send your kid to college or how do you not get evicted from your home? Or why do we have inequality akin to Egypt's?

why do we have inequality akin to Egypt's?

Because it's the Muslim way!

Yup.

Affirmative Action alone sets up our society for MASSIVE inequalities.

“Bartender, I’ll have two of whatever she’s drinking!”

I thought the same when I saw her this morning. Are panelists on talk shows drug tested?

We do. I wished we could bury our masters and encase them in a tomb, pulling out their brains through their nostrils and wrapping them in crap.

Lord help me, I’ve joined the Grammar Police....

“Deep-seeded” is completely incorrect.

But anyway, she’s an idiot.

from: http://grammarist.com/usage/deep-seeded-deep-seated/

Examples
These writers use deep-seated well:

The work of deep-seated, sustainable change remains the hardest work there is. [Harvard Business Review]

The second post was about the nature of conflict in America over deep-seated beliefs. [Joseph Robert Lewis]

But despite that, there are deep-seated problems, says the report. [BBC News]

And, just for fun, here are a few examples of deep-seeded used in place of deep-seated:

If that isn’t true, I at least hope that my deep seeded fascination with pop culture has made you feel better about what you do in your free time. [The Maneater]

Montaner maintains that deep-seeded discrimination and stigma has resulted in decreasing interest in the disease. [Toronto Star]

And when I say resent, I mean resent with a deep-seeded, unhealthy anger that I can’t really explain. [Huffington Post]

To think that way, you have to smoke, snort, shoot or study it.

How on earth are these people given credence much less pundancy.

She should show us all some pictures of the typical Egyptian peasant. I bet they also all have big screen TVs, cars, refrigerators, air conditioning, boom boxes, and most of all are obese. Then our poor will be like Egypt's.

Katrina is irrelevancy with a face, an expense outfit and a “good” education. She just doesn’t know she is an irrelevancy ... nor do the alphabet media. What an indictment of our current culture! How sad. How very sad a commentary on the state of erudition and sagacity to be had today. In days gone by she would have been dismissed to the parlor and commended to take her laudanum regularly.

Well, she’s right in one respect, we do have a lot of smart people and a lot of dopes. Guess which half she belongs to.

I say we drop her off in the middle of Egypt wearing
what ever she was wearing on the show and see how far
she gets.
