Let’s also keep in mind Cheney will sometimes violate conservative principles to protect his family. He opposed the constitutional amendment to define marriage as being between a man and a woman because his daughter is a homosexual. So if he thinks a Romney presidency would be better for either that daughter or Liz Cheney, who obviously wants to rise in prominence in the party, he might lean that way for that reason.
Sorry Cheney butt-kissers, I think he’s a great elected official too, but that doesn’t mean I’m a sheep who has to agree with him 100% of the time.
Conservatism in 1998 was not defined as "hating Obama" and it isn't today. It's about sticking up for conservative principles. Since Romney accomplished more liberal policy in Massachusetts relatively speaking than Obama has as president, this "conservative web site" would be hypocritical to support him.
Only Democrats vote when they are dead.

If there was any justice in the world (or much good sense for that matter) Vice-President Cheney would have been President Cheney.
I won’t be surprised either. However Romney is at best a question mark. Obama is meta-physical certitude.

I don’t get it. It is my belief that the Republican Party can get anyone elected when they turn out the vote. You nominate someone you don’t like and no one turns out to vote in the big election. ( and I don’t understand how you nominate someone you don’t support ), which results in Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Obama. Sorry, I didn’t like McCain either, but he would have been light years better than Obama. Even Bob Dole would have been better than 4 more years of Clinton. Someone enlighten me, how can you not vote for your nominated leader and allow 4 more years of the last 4 years or even worse. I left the Republican Party after Bob Dole because I didn’t think the Republican Party could get their heads out of their ass long enough to see the big picture. And this web site won’t support Romney and yet you nominated him. You really think we will be better off with Obama ? Please explain .
