Dear JewishRighter, I will “cut it out” but want to leave you with a question. Are non Jewish believers going to be all right in the eyes of The LORD when they leave this world? If not, is it kind to leave people to their own beliefs or would it be kinder to help them realize their mistakes in belief? Many Christians strongly believe that without a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ others will not be OK with The LORD when they leave this life. That is why we try to convince others, Jews or any others including many who call themselves Christian and are not, to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. If somebody believes otherwise I and many others are perfectly happy to enter into a debate. I do not think that the other person is disrespectful, but rather appreciate, that though misinformed about important spiritual matters, they care enough about me and others to try to correct us. I believe that in honest and open discourse about any subject that truth can prevail. If people refuse to enter into debate than do they care about their fellow human being or only their own sense of not being “bothered”? If you believe that believing in Jesus Christ as the Jewish Messiah is wrong why not have truthful and honest discussions so that we who, in your estimation, are wrong might be corrected? I love, love, love truth and want it to be disseminated as much as possible. May The LORD bless you, in Jesus Holy Name. Leaving you alone, as you wish.

You may mean well and I have no reason to doubt your sincerity, but it is a simple matter of etiquette, common sense and decency not to go around telling people: “you know, that religion which you and your father and your grandfather and all your ancestors have been observing and dying for for the last 3,500 years? Well its completely wrong and you should just dump the whole thing for this other thing that you and your father and your grandfather and all your ancestors have regarded as utter falsehood and blasphemy for the last 2,000 years and that has been used as an excuse to murder you for the last 2,000 years.” It’s idiotic and insulting to approach a confirmed Jew with this nonsense just as it would be insulting and idiotic for me to do the reverse to you.

Does anyone really need to say they think they have the answer and everyone ought to believe what I believe for their spiritual welfare? It is the very definition of belief in G-d!!!

Beyond that, Judaism is not a proselytizing religion. Sincere converts and seekers are most welcome, but we don’t go around hitting everyone over the head with “love”.
