Inside the [alleged] Secret Service's hooker hot spot
New York Daily News ^ | 04/16/12

It was in this one-story, windowless, brick building with a cheesy neon sign on top that 11 Secret Service agents assigned to protect the President ended up embarrassing their country all for a little fun and flesh, local sources told the Daily News.

Drinking beers and whisky that range in price from 40,000 to 150,000 pesos ($24 to $84) for bottle service, the agents had their pick of young girls with long, black and brown hair and lots of makeup.

“The gringos got rowdy at the bar. They drank fine whisky and slept with the prettiest ones, the ones that charge 300,000 pesos (about $180),” one club worker told the El Heraldo newspaper of Cartagena. “Some did not want to pay. To make it worse, they almost beat up employees who wanted them to pay up.”

Its all about leadership and to be effective it has to start at the top. I have served aboard more than one “Haze Grey and underway” warship that had crappy leadership. Moral was awful and it showed all the way from the CO to the greenest seaman on board. No one had any pride in what they were doing and it showed both aboard and ashore. The moral of the Secret Service must be absolutely awful with that communist clown in the WH.

They do have a “curfew.”

They are usually senior enlisted and they are usually the comm’s experts.

They have work hours that are not regular and require early-early report times.

Curfew in the classic sense? No. Curfew in “You need to turn in early because you have a 0230 report in the morning.”

Essentially the same thing.

The Secret Service are arrogant and this incident is not the first and reflects their attitude that they can do anything and get away with everything because, well, they are protecting the president and you have to respect their authority.

This attitude generates tremendous amounts of a “bullet-proof” mentality. Who’s going to challenge them? They will intimidate ALL, intimidate anyone into shutting up and going away: “What are you going to do about it. . .we will arrest you and drag you off and everyone will take our word over yours, we are the Secret Service after all. . .”

They feel rules don’t apply to them, and frankly many rules don’t apply, and if someone gets in their way they run over that person because they can, all in the name of the president.

They have “power” outside the US and THIS makes them think they are invincible.

And, as I’ve written before, political correctness trumps all these days, color and sex over capability-—this means, of the eleven agents sent home at least half would be affirmative-action hires. . . .and lesbo/homosexuals. In other words: perfect targets for blackmail.

Aren’t these men (and the other “tourists”) concerned about venereal diseases?

Thanks for the clarification. I took the word "curfew" literally.

But if, as you write, and which makes 100% sense, it's a self-imposed behavior, ( turning in earlier in order to be bright and and bushy-tailed for an early dutyy call) by very senior enlisted....then where's the violation?

To me, it sounds more and more like some in the advance party became aware of some information/actions what would be very harmful to Obama, and rather than rely on the silence and discretion of the USSS and the military staff, the administration launched a premptive strike to discredit them.

If tomorrow, all of these agents signed an affadavit under oath that Obama was ( to use an obvious example) having an affair, Carney would dismiss it as "sour grapes" by agents who were derelict in their duty and of rotten character.

Could be.

You are right, a self-imposed “curfew” isn’t a violation, just a lack of judgement. Spineless leadership found out the guys were partying with the SS agents and were sent home. Sent home not for breaking rules, per se, just bad judgment to be caught in the company of the SS agents that were misbehaving.

Written by Ronald Kessler...

For Kessler’s eighth book, THE FBI: Inside the World’s Most Powerful Law Enforcement Agency, the FBI gave Kessler unprecedented access to the bureau. The book revealed for the first time the defection of Vasili Mitrokhin, whose notes from the KGB’s archives disclosed the existence over the years of hundreds of spies in the U.S. The book is the authoritative work on the modern FBI. Its findings led to the dismissal of William Sessions as FBI director over his abuses.

Having probed the CIA and FBI, Kessler was prepared to take on the modern White House. INSIDE THE WHITE HOUSE: The Hidden Lives of the Modern Presidents and the Secrets of the World’s Most Powerful Institution depicts what the presidents and first families are really like and how the White House really operates, as seen by the Secret Service, Air Force One stewards, and White House aides and residence staff who know the true story.

Kessler’s tenth book, THE SINS OF THE FATHER: Joseph P. Kennedy and the Dynasty He Founded, is the first major biography of Joe Kennedy in more than thirty years. Based in part on the only interview ever given by the surgeon who performed the lobotomy on her, the book reveals that for political reasons, Joe Kennedy covered up the fact that his daughter Rosemary was mentally ill rather than retarded, as the family has long claimed. The book documents payoffs Kennedy made to win the presidency for Jack. And it reveals an affair with his Hyannis Port secretary that lasted nine years—three times longer than his affair with movie star Gloria Swanson.

The Obama Regime’s Culture of Corruption

Saturday, April 14, 2012 11:22

AND IS THERE MORE TO COME?

by Sharon Rondeau of The Post and Email

...An author of a book about the Secret Service said that the scandal “is the biggest scandal in Secret Service history.” The Secret Service protects presidents, presidential candidates, former presidents and dignitaries visiting from other countries. Mark Sullivan, the director of the Secret Service, said in the 2010 annual report, “I am proud and honored to lead this elite team of professionals — special agents, uniformed officers, administrative, professional and technical specialists — who personify our motto ‘worthy of trust and confidence’ every day.”

..... After Patriot Act was signed into law in 2001, the Secret Service was given the responsibility of investigating “electronic crimes.“ Several of the Secret Service’s “Most Wanted” fugitives are accused of “identity theft.” Other suspects have been arrested for “identity theft,” among other “online” crimes.

“Then why are members of the Secret Service not investigating the image presented to the public on April 27, 2011 as Obama’s “birth certificate” which has been declared a forgery by an investigative team from Maricopa County, AZ? Why are they not investigating Obama’s use of a social security number from Connecticut when he allegedly was born in Hawaii? The Secret Service has purview over the investigation of “forgery” and “computer fraud.”

...”On March 17, 2009, LCDR Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III accused Obama of having committed treason by allowing U.S. Army troops to deploy and operate on the streets of Samson, AL under the direct supervision of General Martin Dempsey, who is now chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Two days later, Fitzpatrick received a visit from two Secret Service agents..”

Prior to my walking away from the DOD I had to complete a series of computer based training courses dealing with human trafficking. It was mandatory training for all members of the DOD including contractors.

One of the courses dealt with patronizing prostitutes and places where they “worked”.

At the end of the courses there was a review of the Federal penalties for the violation of the Federal laws and policies we had just be taught.

The interesting question, IMHO, is: Will the military members of this incident suffer the same penalties as the Secret Service members? Or, will this become an other case of different strokes for different folks?

Barry's obviously phony Connecticut issued Social Security Card bugs me more than his birth certificate issues. As I think more factual Federal Crimes are involved with him still using it all these years. And iirc his 'Draft Card' is phony too. More counts of Mail and Wire Fraud there to tack onto the SS Card crimes.

If citizen 'John the Carpenter' tried all that he'd be looking at life in Marion, IL. -- where even John Gotti had to pay money to the Aryan Brotherhood for protection so 'Holder's People' wouldn't kill him. And it was a handsome sum, $30,000 or $50,000 a month. But the Teflon Don was getting his butt kicked almost from day one by the blacks. In one photo it looked like a truck hit him.

From the article: ““How tired do you get? Just imagine sleeping three or four hours a night for a week,” an agent says.”

Yes, it’s called law school, medical school, owning your own business, being the parent of an infant...

I don't care who you are, thats funny right there. A mafia don getting scammed in a "protection scheme" by the aryan brotherhood. I wonder if the AB's split 50/50 with the urban yute's, or if one or the other got the better deal?

The "g-word" = gringos!

Even though I posted it for educational purposes, seeing that word printed out has wounded my psyche. I have to seek grief counseling now.

The article says that it was Secret Service management rather than Obama himself who gave the order to park the vehicle in a way to help out the non-fit employee. I think it's believable that they have non-fit employees. The thing that I didn't find believable was that Obama himself would say: "Always park my car on a tilt".

(Although apparently it is true that J. Edgar Hoover ordered his driver to never make any left turns.)

Also I wonder if the real basis of the story was when the car was parked on a tilt in the wrong direction (leaning away from the side to be opened) and the employee couldn't open the door against gravity. Perhaps the driver was then ordered to try to park a flat area (or tilting the other way). You would think that sometimes they need to open doors on both sides of the car.

The doors on the presidential limousine are said to weigh as much as a Boeing 757 cabin door. (Apparently this is 323 pounds). That actually seems light considering what they are probably made of. The windows alone are 5 inches thick.

This is horrible beyond imagining.

This isn't a group of rowdy Rambos. High professional, personal, and ethical standards are virtually synonymous with the upper levels of personal protective details in the military, let alone the Secret Service. So many things had to have gone wrong for something like this to happen that it represents a massive failure of leadership at either the senior policy level or mid-level people who enforce policy.

Obviously people who have been in such positions usually don't talk. For notoriously tight-lipped people to be speaking this openly via leaks indicates that a lot of people who still do have ethical standards are extremely upset and have decided to go to the media — Kessler, for example — because the system isn't working.

In the long run, if the system isn't working, that's far worse than learning a few renegades did something very wrong.
