Pol Pot’s wholesale murder of more than one million Cambodians, the massacre 5,000 on a list of Hue City residents who were loyal to South Vietnam by the Viet Cong, the murder and starvation of millions of people in the Ukraine by Comrade Stalin, the many purges conducted by Communists and other atrocities committed by Communist Chinese; the total is more than fifty million.

Yet, leftist commentators adore Communist dictators.

Leftists think they are smarter than everybody else, that they have a better idea, and that if only you would do what they want, the world would be a better place. A dictator who has managed to stay in power for 50+ years, no matter what cost to humanity, is probably their life's aspiration.
I think Rush made a similar point the other day.

Leftist don't care about people. They want their way of life promoted and their ideas and laws imposed on people regardless of the results. If a program doesn't work they throw more money at it. If it sill doesn't work they throw buckets of money at it. They don't use logic. Cuba and North Korea are failed states with dictator's imposing their will without any opposition voices. The dictator's have no-one else to blame for their nation's lot except for themselves and their laws and policies. Cuba and North Korea are the end results of leftist policies put in place without checks and balances. The winner's in these failed states are the dictator's and the losers are the nation's people.

They admire leftists dictators, because when the left describes them as “macho”.....what they are saying is that they admire them for having done to their political opposition, what the left here desires to do, but hasn’t enough testosterone (yet) to try to do. We have something called the Second Amendment. It’s why the Left is always making runs at it.
