Please read it all and then you can impart wisdom

Since I agreed with your opinion about it being an immortal post, exactly what is your cryptic point?
PS: FYI I read it all long ago and was also imparting the “wisdom” embodied in it LONG ago.
An example is this email exchange I had with someone way back in 2007 [Note that my link below is different from yours so that you didn’t really have to go into the “wayback machine” to get it]:

I get strong feelings of deja vu when I read what is written below by [leftist homo] Andrew Sullivan. Torture didn;t win our “war” on communism, and all it did was brutalise the policemen and soldiers who did it. I just listened to Charles say that the torture of terror suspects in 2002 was justified because the United States was flying blind and had no knowledge of what al Qaeda was planning. He won’t say “torture”, of course, although the law is clear that it is torture. (He and Fox News keep referring to the notion of “harsh interrogation techniques”. ...” ~ Henri

In other words, there is a deep structure of leftist morality that is the cause of moral choices made on the surface. Ironically, this deep structure is specifically Christian, even (or especially) for irreligious secular fundamentalists. Its just that it is a twisted version of Christianity—literally a religious perversion. It is a perversion (please dont get me wrong—I mean this literally, in the clinical and descriptive sense, not as an insult) that could only occur in a society that is thoroughly infused with Christian morality. (There is also a twisted version of Judaism that I don’t have time to get into; suffice it to say that Karl Marx was the great anti-Moses with the reverse Sinai revelation.)
If one is going to engage in comparative religion, one needs to exit history and take a martian’s-eye view of the situation. From that much wider trans-historical viewpoint, the Judeo-Christian tradition emerges not as religion, but the cure for religion—including the religion of atheism or secularism. Allow me to explain. ...”
