We thinkers are quickly being outnumbered by those who scream for mo’ gubmint cheez.

This is a reality we face, but right now the polls indicate the opposite. The wind is at our back because the GOP is pushing an agenda that is popular with the American people, while the Democrats are saddled with unpopular positions and a terrible economy on their watch. They have health care and a 1.5 trillion dollar deficit as an albatross. We are winning the day, and need to take this opportunity to push the party as far right as possible, by pushing out DC insiders and replacing with more grassroots conservatives in the primary. Out with Lugar; get Cruz instead of Dewhurst. Back guys like Allen West and others who have a tough reelection fight ahead. If we have another big primary and election, we are going to force good legislation and force the DC leadership to do more good and stand strong on the big issues. If all goes well, we have an opportunity in 2013 to push some good tax policies and entitlement reform.
