I love ham and lima beans. With a nice piece of cornbread, that might be good.

Beans and M%@#%r F&$#@$s heated over a small chunk of C-4 - some insipid but scalding hot coffee - a few drags from a Chesty Puller or Red Death - that was living!

Always liked C-Ration Ham & Eggs in Vietnam...& Corn Flake Bars from LRRP Rations (I think they came to be called MREs).

I know, I know. But after 6-8 months in the field there, one came to like even stranger things than that.
