I’m not sure that getting into a fight with the media is going to be productive for Romney. There is an old saying in public relations which applies here: Never argue with someone who buys ink by the barrel and paper by the ton. If Romney is too busy worrying about what the press is saying, he’ll be constantly off message. The only chance that Romney has to win is to say on topic 24/7 and not let the press determine today’s topic of discussion.
And the way to do that is attack! Attack! Attack!
Attack in the morning, attack in the afternoon, attack at night.
Attack so outrageously that the media MUST cover it...and then attack some more.
Take no prisoners.
...and just exactlly how is that bubbling, no spine, flip-flopper going to stay on any topic he's presented with when he has no clear understanding of which side of the issues he stands on? He will use every question to "chat" the 'Romney chat' as always...no substance...no plan...nothing with teeth at all. He'll be as evasive as ever.
Romney won't go up against the media at all...never...he'll go along to play along as usual.
No skin off my nose...I'm not voting for Romney...I am voting for the only candidate who can take Obama out and take on Romney...
Go NEwt Go!!!!
Agreed. The only way to beat them is to refuse to dance to their tune. Bush did it when he said “we’ve already been over my drug record, now we’re not going to talk about it any more. Next question.” I thought that man in there had borrowed a page from Bush’s playbook when he flat refused to talk about his past associations etc., but apparently that’s just how mean he is.
