Based on what you actually post here, his being a Mormon is one of those "many other reasons."
You wouldn't throw in buzzwords like "Mormon bishop," "cult," "not a Christian," and "Joseph Smith" so often if it were just about politics.
My own personal favorite was the post about how Romney wants to be or expects to be a god someday. That's pretty far removed from politics and current issues.

According to the cult leader himself, his dog ALWAYS rode on top of the car (“He scrambled up there every time we went on trips,” Mr. Romney said. “He got it all by himself and enjoyed it.”), that is ridiculous.
