So were a lot of other people who fought for the south dweb! What does that have to do with what we are talking about?

Pal, you’re attempting to take Tuckers treatsie on Federalism and states rights to justify abolishing the Union and preserving slavery. As I said, if this form of government doesn’t suit you, find another one. As to anti-slavery Confederates in 1861, that’s going out on a limb. The South wasn’t fighting to end it.
