Your attempts to mock TigersEye -- who, by the way, I have no great fondness for, since we have clashed elseware -- are falling flat.

Your language is imprecise and your concepts of both firearms saftey and the application of law are laughable, and that is what is being addressed.

“LMAO! You are quite the tool. I am in doubt of anything you’ve posted about your life. NJ has enough problems move to NY. Now I am sure you are a retread!!!”

Am I supposed to care what you think? Maybe I’ll just post some crap about you having sexual relations with your horse since we all seems to know everything about everyone here. Why not?....It seems to be the fashionable to abuse people as a form of argument.

“You claim to be a teacher, yet you cannot properly employ the word ‘brevity’? Brevity ONLY refers to a short duration of time, or a conciseness in speech.”

OMG we are back to this again!? Yeah...I meant brevity...the brevity of his crime...as in his momentary lapse of reason.

You're definitely trolling now. Not sure you are a full-on troll though, since your prior posts seem 'normal' enough. But you are getting sucked into some severe trolling.

Also, you are making repeated grammatical errors that are bringing into doubt your self-proclaimed status as a teacher.

Be specific. I’m railing against the laws as they are stated so what is it you take offense to exactly?

You've been PWND..... to coin an appropriate phrase.

Thanks, pandy. We don't want him either. Maybe MA or CA would take him.

Now I am sure you are a retread!!!

Shall we start a pool on how long before the zot?

OMG we are back to this again!? Yeah...I meant brevity...the brevity of his crime...as in his momentary lapse of reason.

Then you are a fool engaged in pure legal folly. There is no such concept in the legal world as the 'brevity of crime'. It is a binary condition: You have committed the crime, or you have not.

There IS a concept known as 'mens rea', which translates to 'the guilty mind'. In the tortured and mangled way you have chosen to express the concept, that of 'brevity of the crime', I would STILL remind you that absence of 'mens rea' only would alter the charge. It still is a crime. Think of it, comparatively, to Involuntary Manslaughter (absence of 'mens rea') versus Murder (presence of 'mens rea').

I'm not even a lawyer and I'm schooled in this topic. Pray, what is it you teach?

Your assertion is inaccurate. I haven’t justified anything. Don’t start down the logical fallacy path your friend did. I’ve stated over a dozen times that what this guy did was wrong. I just don’t think it warrants 12 felony charges and 60 years in prison. I don’t think people are looking at the case rationally. To me, people ranting and raving and gnashing their teeth about this guy in their posts reeks of mob mentality and street justice. I find that offensive and dangerous because it’s that very mentality which the left uses to strip our liberties and damage our education, justice system and government; all the things you complain about. Zero tolerance laws are a good example of how mob mentality allowed law makers to justify stripping people of their individuality and over-criminalize everything. The next time some kid gets arrested for bringing a butter knife to school for their bagel…I’ll send them to you to convict them in the court of street justice and mobocracy.

I agree with what Frenetic has posted, here.

However, somewhere along the way, it became a pissing match. I believe Frenetic brought some (most) of it on himself by miminizing the seriousness of the actual event, of which I quoted, when I posted #142: "Keep in mind that the weapon was a fake. Nobody was injured."

That was an assinine comment.

I agree that this crime is not 12-felony, 60-year serious. But this is a serious crime and is definitely a one-felony, 10-year crime.

In short, I'm not sure Frenetic is a troll (although I withhold a conclusion here, and will observe him), but that he messed up.

I also have a hard time believing he is a teacher. Well, a good one, anyways.

Sorry...now it’s five on one. I don’t have the patience for lynch mobs.

All you angry pitchfork-wielding people are going to have steam among yourselves for a while.

Plus this is getting boring.

No, they're not.

You ever see what some teachers are capable of in terms of poor grammar?

Don't forget, they're the degree program that tends to attract the lower IQ students. When I was in college back in the 70's, at a teaching college no less, the teaching degree was considered the dummy degree, even then.

Getting a teaching degree in no way assures that the individual is qualified to teach.

Then solely engage me. I have not gone to insults, and only briefly thought you were a troll. I am curious to your responses to my comments.
