Since when does standing on sound conservative principles warrant insult on the FR? If your conscience is clear voting for Romney, then do it. I don't agree with your actions or understand them but I respect your right to make up your own mind. Those of us who won't ever pull the lever for Romney would appreciate similar treatment.

I'd feel a little bit worse with Obama's re-election than I would with Romney's election but not enough to abandon my conservative principles. I said five years ago that Mitt Romney is the only major Republican presidential candidate of my lifetime for whom I couldn't vote. That's an unbroken string of Republican votes back to unenthusiastically pulling the lever for Ford. Not Romney, ever.

I do and will campaign against Romney. Now and after the primary if he takes the nomination.

Blame the GOP-E and complicit media for their dirty tricks, rule changes, and bashing conservatives.

You do know that if Romney gets the nod, the media will unleash their hounds and crush him, as well.

When did you lose the principles you imply you have by claiming that you are a Conservative? Or did you ever have any principles to lose? Or is the you claiming to be a Conservate a chrade?

I am urging conservatives, if there is no valid conservative in the race, to deliberately fragment the vote in order to make sure that whichever bad guy wins -- and both Romney and Obama are BAD GUYS -- gets in with the most miserable, pathetic plurality possible, so it is loud and clear that the majority voted AGAINST him.

It hurt Clinton pretty bad with 43% (the Republican Revolution was nourished by that plurality) -- imagine how it would devastate Obama (and supercharge conservatives' victory in a major battle inside the Republican party) if, because we "half-wits" went out and fragmented the vote, Obama got in with only a 34% plurality, fully 66% of Americans ON RECORD, loud and clear, as opposing him.

And no, it won't make me feel like I "got even," because vengeance is for ninnies -- I got over "getting even" when I was a kid. My goal, my motivation, is to USE MY VOTE TO FIGHT AGAINST STATISTS AND LIBERALISM.
