That song brings up a question. My memory is cloudy after all these years, but didn’t Levon act in a movie about a short line railroad going out of business? Wasn’t he a locomotive engineer in the film?
I’ve not seen all the movies he’s appeared in, but that sounds familiar. I like the one where he plays a Civil War Col. the best I think (In the Electric Mist with Tommy Lee Jones), but his narration in “The Right Stuff” and his role as daddy in “Coal Miner’s Daughter” stand out.
