I WANT THE ARCH ENEMY OF THE LEFT IN THE WHITE HOUSE! PERIOD!

THE ENEMY OF A LIAR IS ACCURACY!

So what was it that you said you wanted in a replacement for the Oval Office?? I thought it was honesty, and integrity, and Pro-Am policies that support main street, our Constitution, Laws of the land and the freedoms we hold dear. Wasn’t it??? Didn’t you?? You said you wanted someone who could communicate that without a teleprompter. You said you were sick of the lamestream media lies (have you already forgotten that you are the mainstream media??). Well accuracy, dear friend and conservative voter, is the enemy of lies. I want a policy EXPERT in the OVAL OFFICE that remains on the side of “We the People” and our freedoms and the rule of law. I want the arch-enemy of the left in our oval, and that happens to be Newt!

It's rush's way of hiding his stealth support for Mitt Romney, the choice of his country club, golf-loving rich friends, and he would never stand up to them...

I fear that you are sadly right.

I’ve stated my case. You’ve heard it. Waste your time and money on Newt if you want. Time and money would be better used elsewhere ... but its your call.

In a few weeks, or a few months (depending on how slow you are on the uptake), y’all will be exactly where I am at the moment. You’ll be a principled conservative trying to coming up with a Plan B once you’ve acknowledged that no principled conservative will be on the ballot in 2012.

I’d be glad to be wrong. I’m not. But, it would be a pleasant miracle.

Wow. Why so negative? I doubt America could have survived 50 years if we all had that attitude.

why has realism become a negative trait and blind, inane optimism become the movement of the day?

Oh brother, Mark Davis is the worst! This guy has to be the most obnoxious, condescending, annoying sounding radio host it's ever been my displeasure to listen to!

Tell me about it. He's been the morning guy on WBAP in Dallas for I don't know how long, and has been irritating the hell of me the whole time he's been there.

He and WBAP recently parted ways, and I shouted, "Hallelujah!" Good riddance to bad RINO rubbish. Yesterday I heard him broadcasting from Rush's "Northern Command", and just shook my head.

Tell you who I'd like to hear on AM talk radio, and that's Ann Barnhardt. You want to talk about red hot patriot courage. That lady is so hot that I don't think liberals would have the courage to call in. If you haven't heard her, look her up on YouTube. She's frikken dynamite.

Blind optimism is apparently a “principle” that we sighted conservatives have sold out.

The "Newt can't win anyway" crowd is really pitching a fit.
They know he can win so negative reinforcement is the only option available.

I'll post my PSYOP link again. The more who know about what's going on the better.
@#81...WAR.COM: THE INTERNET AND PSYCHOLOGICAL OPERATIONS

#84

The recent Defense Science Board report on PSYOP also suggested some less obvious potential tools using emerging media technologies, such as chat rooms and instant messaging services that could be used for “guided discussions” to influence how citizens thinks about certain topics,” and even noted that both U.S. presidential candidates and the Chinese government have used similar Internet technologies for information dissemination.

Remember the meme, boys and girls...Newt can't win!

that is an excellent post. And they have been out in force on FR since last night, because the "meme" from both santorum and mitt is: DISCOURAGE THE NEWT SUPPORTERS... that is what the NC cancellation story was about last night...

People in DE and TX and NC now think Newt is out... though there are lots of tweets going out to set the record straight...

I am going to read your links, and it seems to me that every Newt supporter, since we are the only resisters remaining, should get a clue about what's being thrown at us...

There was a mitt supporter who was "just so sad" earlier how we are abandoning Mitt...

Just proves your point.

Why do you think the battle for conservatism is over?

And what makes you think anything we do right now makes any difference to the battle against Obama? How does uniting now make it any easier to defeat Obama?

If we unite now I’m never going to be able to say, “Vote for somebody who opposes government-coerced abortion.” The best I’ll ever be able to say is, “Romney is slimy but Obama is worse.” And I can say that any old time. So why is now anytime special to start saying that?

Are you familiar with the whole concept of demoralization?

If you were either Mitt Romney or Soros/Obama how and why would you demoralize the people who stand in your way?

This BS has been going on in the media and at FR for years!
It's deviousness in motion, but watch with a discerning eye from now on and it'll be easier to spot.

Think of the recent Zimmerman-Martin brouhaha.
People were originally being guided to a predetermined conclusion until people started pointing things out...like why were there only pictures of a young boy instead of a young man being presented.

The desire was...we want you to believe without questioning that an innocent child was murdered simply because he was black.

Newt Trails Obama by Only 7 Points in Latest Rasmussen Tracking Poll (or It’s Not Over Yet).
Vanity | April 21, 2012 | True Believer

Posted on Saturday, April 21, 2012 8:08:35 PM by true believer forever

In the lastest Rasmussen tracking poll, which has had no media coverage, Newt Gingrich is trailing Barack Obama by only 7 points nationally. Barack Obama is leading Mitt Romney by only 5 points in Florida. These poll results are being withheld by the RNC and the MSM, who want no positive news about Newt in circulation, especially the fact he is only behind Obama by 7 points nationally.

The RNC establishment’s current strategy remains: Publish no poll numbers; spread the word that Romney is the nominee; have people vote based on blackout and misinformation expecting Romney to win big; then hit hard with Romney’s wins and Newt’s losses to bully Newt into dropping.

Please do yourself the honor of reviewing actual polls by doing a Google search for “2012 Republican presidential polls (name state)” and you will see why the RNC is using this tactic. Then spread the word!

Obama with the dem-media complex, millions of dollars, sycophants everywhere in the media, versus Mitt Romney with the entire conservative media capitulated behind him, his millions, and NEWTON LEROY GINGRICH is only 7 points behind Obama in the lastest Rasmussen tracking?

” - - - That battle is over. Don’t prepare for the last battle — prepare for the next one.”

Hmmmmm, - - - - - - . If I read you correctly, there is never a present battle, only the past and future battles.

That way you risk nothing, and thus never loose or gain anything. You are safe.

ALL RINOs say the same things to avoid a battle in US Congress.

BTW, your rationalization of helplessness is why all competative sports have benches.

Right now I think all Mitt has going for him is the fact that people want anybody but Obama. Well... Gingrich is also not Obama.

The difference in all this, though, is who is motivated to go to the voting booth. 60-75% of the public wants Obamacare trashed. If Romney is the candidate what incentive do they have for going out and voting? All Romney offers is to demoralize the conservative base.

The 60-75% who want Obamacare trashed includes non-conservatives, and if that is one of their big issues they will come out to vote for Newt. Those who want government reined in like the previous “Contract with America” would come out to vote for Newt.

There are reasons for conservatives and non-conservatives to be motivated to vote. Who would come out to vote for Romney except as a vote against Obama - and a vote that they might not even think is all that different than a vote for Obama?

Rush himself is the only one I can even stand to listen to any more - either nationally or locally. And I think he’s been getting distracted a lot lately too. Lots of big things that could be discussed but he just won’t. Or at least not in the little time that I’ve actually listened to his show.

The “conservative leaders” have largely been threatened out of being honest any more. See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2873887/posts?page=62#62 and especially the last link to see how the content on Fox, for instance, is dictated by George Soros.

I’d rather not waste my time listening to any of them. We’ve effectively been isolated from even our so-called “leaders” because of the lawless foreign enemy combatant in our White House, and his owner/puppetmaster, George Soros.

And Soros has said there’s no difference between Obama and Romney, as far as he’s concerned. Probably thinks he can bully either one, with the media in his hands. It took exactly ONE DAY of pressure from the Boston Globe for Mitt Romney to publicly state in a press conference that government-coerced abortion was a “sounder view” of what Romneycare legally meant, and that he personally believes it is the “right thing” for Catholics to commit what they believe to be murder. What’s in quotes are direct quotes from Romney’s statement the same day that a Boston Globe article came out criticizing Romney for his previous stance that the 1975 conscience law was still in effect under Romneycare.

Putty.

There’s more chance that Romney would be shaped by conservatives (if he allowed them anywhere near them) than that Obama would, but chances are very, very slim that Romney would hold conservative counsel more urgent than the media blitz that he would face if he actually tried to do any of the things he’s promised during the primary Etch-a-Sketch phase.
