The recent Defense Science Board report on PSYOP also suggested some less obvious potential tools using emerging media technologies, such as chat rooms and instant messaging services that could be used for guided discussions to influence how citizens thinks about certain topics, and even noted that both U.S. presidential candidates and the Chinese government have used similar Internet technologies for information dissemination.
It wasn't naivete. Hopefully you won't be naive any longer now either. {;^)

It wasn't naivete. Hopefully you won't be naive any longer now either. {;^) I believe it was...or at least pontification to show how "enlightened" they were. We still see these same statements being made here at FR over this latest kerfuffle. Am I to believe that all or most FReepers who make those statements here are just practicing PSYOPS?
