Why Romney Can't Win
NOPC Network ^ | 4/13/2012 | Steve TMFO Elmore

I'm backing Newt and hoping for a brokered convention, where Romney's lead in the polls will mean NOTHING. The remaining candidates plead their cases to the convention, and as we've seen, Newt SLAUGHTERS everyone in a debate. And it's more than that. I've never been a big fan of Newt's, but he's done one thing better than anyone else; he ATTACKS AND THE ATTACKS STICK. And when the opposition attacks, he blocks the shot and unloads even harder.

THAT is what it's going to take to beat Obama. Anything less, and we can kiss our country and our asses goodbye.

Article is all over FB and looks like MORE are reading it on Free Republic. Your boy Mitt has had to buy almost every delegate. Many of the politicians that endorsed him were bought. He is still struggling to win and still hasn't locked up the delegates necessary to obtain the nomination. Only 19 states to go. He is a weak candidate and a watered down rino. His record as gov. of Mass is proof of that. How much did Mitt spend in Iowa alone? in Fla? the man thinks he can buy the whitehouse...it won't work.

Do you really want me to answer that? remember what Gingrich accomplished as Speaker of the house during Clinton’s presidency. IF we win the senate, maintain control of congress and hold the republicans feet to the fire..we can block Obama and send the gop establishment a message. We sent them a clear one in the 2010 elections..did they listen? NO! they never accepted the Tea Party candidates and they loaded for bear to shove Romney down our throats. It is my belief we are in a fight to restore conservatism not elect watered down weak candidates that don’t share a dimes worth of difference between the dems. Romney could have run as a democrat. Would you have voted for him? Romney stated “I am NOT a partisan republican but a moderate with progressive views.” Is that what YOU want Presidio?

"No, I'm not going to do that. I'm going to use my vote to make sure Obama stays in power and is able to finish what he started. Yeah, that's the moral thing to do."

Perhaps you can explain to me how voting for Romney, who is pretty much the same thing as Obummer, advances Conservatism one whit?

My conviction tells me not to support politicians who are helping to destroy the most important principles upon which our form of government, and our claim to liberty, depend.

In your opinion, which is more of a threat to the long-term survival of the republic: Four more years of Obama or conservatives with absolutely no allegiance to principle left?

Look, I’ve been working on campaigns for more than twenty years. And I know from hard-earned experience that one of the critical components of any victory is voter intensity.

And no amount of money can buy it.

So far, the best Romney Republicans have is “Yeah, he sucks, but...”

Romney is a loser.

Face it, unless principled patriots plot a new course, the unprincipled Republican Party has already ceded the election to the Chicago marxist thugs.

Barack Obama’s role was to capitalize for the socialists on the compromises of principle of the Bushes.

Mitt Romney’s role, if elected, is to consolidate the socialist gains of Barack Obama.

I, for one, refuse to be complicit in that sellout of my country.

I hate Romney. He makes me sick. His defense of RomneyCare makes me go into a rage.

It’s Romney that will make people stay home, not me.

We just keep pulling the handle for their progressive rino, while telling ourselves that next time we'll vote for the one we really want, b/c next time it will be different, over and over again.

Why wait until next time to do the right thing, according to your conscience?

If the conservative right had begun voting their conscience en masse when Bush 41 ran for re-election, we wouldn't have a full-blown Marxist in the White House today.

One of the most frightening aspects of the current argument, is that so many on our side fail to see this. Accommodating our side's incremental drift leftward, by voting for the pathetically weak candidates they put up, only compromises our stated principles more and more. At some point, we'll be indistinguishable from the other guys.

Comes a time where you've finally got to draw a line in the sand and say, "No Further!" This election is that line in the sand.
