I will be voting for Newt in the NC primary on May 8, but in November, when the choice comes down to Mitt or Zero, there is no way I'm going to do anything that helps Zero have a second term. Even if that means voting for Mitt.

I can't stand Mitt, but do you folks really think that he is a true believer like Zero? Do you think Mitt wants to take America down a notch like Zero does? Do you think that Mitt hates what this country stands for?

My duty as I see it is to ensure that the least harm comes from this election and taking my ball and going home just because I don't get my way is not the answer. Fight for a conservative in the primary and in all local elections. But, in the general election, staying home and not voting is the mathematical equivalent to voting for Zero and I won't do that.

Rush Limbaugh on Romney, “BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Daniel Henninger said Mitt Romney is not naturally conservative. He’s going to have to be nudged in that direction. That’s true. It’s not a particularly unique point, but still true. Now on Sunday night Romney was here in Palm Beach for a big fundraiser. Word has leaked out about some of the things that he said to the donors. These are things that he’s not said publicly in terms of specifics on policy, and one of the things that he talked about was a tax plan. He wants to lower rates but eliminate some deductions for the rich. And I have to tell you, folks, I’m not comfortable with the Republican nominee talking about special plans for “the rich,” special plans for “Hispanics.”

Note this was a ‘BEHIND CLOSED DOORS’ fundraiser.

Your crazy. I refuse to vote for a guy who does not share my values. I have decided that I am going to vote for that Virgil Goode individual. It will help the Constitution Party gain some traction too. Newt gets my vote in Pennsylvania.

Here’s something to consider. I’m sure you consider yourself a conservative, but are you a conservative with battered womans’s syndrome?

“Conservatives/Tea Party are like women with Battered Woman Syndrome to the Establishment”

Posted on Friday, April 20, 2012 11:12:27 PM by Bigtigermike

The GOP Establishment and Elites attack, mock, sabotage, set them up and join in with the liberals in taking down conservatives and true conservative candidates but each and every time the Establishment knows that when push comes to serve — the conservatives wont leave the reservation and will support them when they come calling every time. They keep telling them that “you got nowhere to go, you aint leaving”

The conservatives like those women, keep believing that one day things are going to get better. That next time they will be truly appreciated, that next time the husband is going to rally around her, that next time they are going to be more assertive than ever before and the husband will have a new found sense of respect and will “acquiesce” to them

Conservatives fail to see their current circumstances...”

What do you think about that, Sun?

Is Romney a RINOlander,
Who caves-in to Debt-Decline?
Will he re-write Obama”care,”
And propel us into financial hell?

Will Romney cast out REASON,
And join the Democrat’s lot?
Romney’s past brings sparse hope to mind,
Of those that are TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY,
Of those who are not blind.

When the choice is Obama or Obama White, it means that the POTUS is lost and we need to put enough Tea under the capital dome to start impeaching and keep impeaching until there’s an American in the White Hut again.

To answer your (rhetorical?) question, no.

That’s what I plan to do. I hope that a brokered convention is possible, but now I don’t see it happening. If Mitt is the nominee, conservatives should concentrate their passion to the down-ballot races.

All of that is emotion based and has no bearing. Romney's record is as bad as Obama. I base my opinion on the mans record.

Mitt didn’t think Obama was bad for the country, the attacks on Sarah began with his campaign staff. He was willing to let Obama win so he could run in 4 years. His statement that his sons are serving their country by campaigning for him shows his utter disrespect for the military.

Mitt is closer to Obama in ideology than he is to you and I, yet you speak of voting for him in November as if that's a pro-survival choice. The man is an establishment liberal Democrat, but you'll vote for him because he's fooled you by wearing a Republican name tag.

How can someone with the name of Sun Tzu in their handle fail to see the suicidal dynamics involved here?

You're much better off facing an overt, avowed enemy, than allowing a traitor wearing false colors inside your gates.

Hot damn!!! Someone on here who realizes that this great Republic cannot stand 4 more years of B. Hussein Obama. I will not be voting for Mitt so much as I will just be voting against Obama. And I’ll do that by voting for someone who actually has a chance to defeat Obama and send his sorry ass back to Chicago; not by voting for Herman Humperdink on the “Dawn’s Early Light” Party.

Since recovering from liberalism after college, I have always followed the Buckley rule.

My brother, who does not, is still kicking himself for having voted for Ross Perot, who gave us eight years of a filthy pig in the White House, another filthy NY Senator, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Steven Breyer.

I will vote “not Obama” realistically, and with my eye on the Supreme Court.
