The GOP has for all intents and purposes decided on its nominee.

Who gives a flip what they do? It's no surprise - they did it before! Are you always so weak when it comes to someone's intentions that you fold like a cheap suitcase?

This isn't about a party but America!

And how exactly is Virgil Goode a Mitt enabler?

Anyone one who would even consider taking one vote from NEWT is helping the POS Mitt. He's bought off enough conservatives, that's his mo.

Newt is PRO CONSTITUTION - all the way, it runs in his blood with a record to prove it! Either one is whole hardheartedly behind him or against him/against America.

There are no do-overs or time for pipe dreams - this is it!

Either one is whole hardheartedly behind him or against him/against America.

It's not quite that simple. Newt also has some background that shows: A pro-global warmist tilt:

Backing for a healthcare mandate:

Plus, a rather shaky position on illegals; first he says they should be departed, then wants a "humane," non-deportation policy.

Newt is the best one left standing of the three remaining in the GOP, but you and I both know only a miracle will prevent Romney from getting the nomination, so the best Newt can realistically hope for is an offer for a VP slot. Somehow, I doubt he'll take it.

And, let's dispense with the simplistic "Vote for Newt or you hate America" routine. I'll rise above your allegations of "weakness," but will tell you this: I voted for Bush I and II, Bob Dole and John McCain, all because the alternative was far worse, and what has the GOP to show for it, but an establishment disdain for all things Tea Party? With Romney atop the GOP heap, those lines are blurred. And he's going to be crushed by Obama in November.

If somehow Newt were able to pull it off (which he won't), I'd certainly look to him. I will NOT cast a vote for Romney.
