What kind of heartless person disarms someone with a public hit contract on them?

Exactly. Only a dum*ss judge who is assuming guilt before a trial. He’s about as anti-America as one can get.

Well, if someone is charged with second degree murder (and yes, I know it is a BS charge) it would pretty much be a standard bail condition I should imagine.
Prevents the prosecution making a big deal of Zimmerman getting low bail in the first place.

Said before and I’ll keep saying it: This whole case is a tragedy for both sides, but GZ did right under the laws of the state, and has co-operated throughout, including staying in contact with LEO while he was hiding but uncharged. When he was charged, he came in under his own steam.
Those are not the actions of a man guilty of murder. Feeling guilty in his own mind, perhaps, hence his expression of sorrow to TM’s parents, but that is understandable.
