Your post brought back the memory of having gotten that book from a rack at church when I was about 10.

Though the content was lost to memory, the cover was still visible to my mind's eye !

David Noebel, of Summit Ministries (”Understanding the Times”) did an update (”You can STILL trust the communists to be communists”), but he stated in the fwd that he didn’t have to update much, it was all still very true.
