I all 100% honesty, I live about 60 miles southwest from New Orleans and haven't been there in 30 years.
It's little more than a third world rip off country and just as dangerous.
It can rival Chicago in violence on some weekends............Not my type of place since I'm a believer in situational awareness.
There are no *safe parts* of the city anymore.
Some may argue my view, but I listen to the New Orleans TV news every night.

Well I received a shock. I voted in the primary today. I went about 5 pm. 46 people voted by 5 pm. The township has a population of 7,500, roughly, and is mostly Republican and has 2 polling places.

Normally the county election commission sends little cards telling people the date and place to vote. Not this time.

And the paper has info. Instead, my local communist rag had a small write-up yesterday that today was the primary.

Sound like the vote is being suppressed? You betcha!
