Of all things that I associate with Hampshire College, critical thinking is not even on the list.
Rather, the college is known as a bastion of ignorant and intolerant leftists, for whom critical thinking is anathema.
Maybe they have redefined the term to mean something that is more compatible with the leftist mindset.
Hampshire College is nothing more than a nicely furnished commune where the idiot children of the wealthy can buy a BA in whatever they want.
