As I recall, Obama has never released the records on his student loans.

Now that he's made a campaign issue of it, will the MSM ask to see them?

I imagine Gov. Romney probably worked his way through college, something that is no doubt foreign to Mr. Obama and his ilk.

I WORKED my way through college, sometimes with three jobs at once. That, and 4 years of the Air Force let me graduate with NO DEBT.

It meant I missed out on the Thursady thru Saturday parties, football games, etc, but I didn’t owe anything.

Can you just IMAGINE the hate crime it would be to ask a kid to do that, today?

I think Romney had two or three kids to support by the end of law/business school.

He’s so slimy, but sooooo good! He grew up in Hawaii, raised by very well to do grandparents and went to the most elite private school west of the rockies. What a liar, but like I said, he is good!! What a perfect manchurian candidate, the time was right after years of vapid public education had made a populace of stupid people, ready for such empty rhetoric and goodies from government, and the cherry on top was a black guy to assuage white guilt! touché, dems!

But it wasn’t just that we worked hard, it was that somebody made an investment in us.

Translation: Moochelle and I never had a real job and somebody mysteriously financed most of our education.

Calling a college education the “best tool you have to achieve the American promise,”

?????

so...
i pay for my own college...
graduate...
work 100 hr weeks for years on end...
and once i ‘make it’...

i’m vilified and, forced under threat of violence, to give 50% of every waking moment to the federal government (and an additional 10% to the state if i live in CA)

gee, what a wonderful ‘promise’. work your ass off... so you can be enslaved ‘for the greater good’ if you prove yourself able to pay for all the leeching asshats

just awesome.

not just no... HELL NO

get your commie / marxist/ progressive bullsh*t out of my country, you freakin half wit

All I know is on a Lark, Moochie applied to Harvard Law with a C average and when there on Student loans and was disbarred.

I think Obama is also disbarred

Sherriff Joe claims the wealthy Ayers family paid for Obama's education

I heard a wealthy Saudi paid for his education know as a foreign student.

So they my know Moochie's loans were at college but if I am Roomey I would demand Obama's records sense he has made a issue of it. Like any good defense Attorney Obama opened the door on the issue.

“As I recall, Obama has never released the records on his student loans.”

My thoughts exactly! We’re all just supposed to take his word on everything he says. The ‘Liar in Chief’ has spoken.

Our response? SHOW US THE RECORDS!!!!

Zer0 never had to work his way through school. It’s all B.S. from this compulsive liar. he was a pampered lazy S.O.B. with arrogance.

I believe his most undistinguished law career was with Sidley Austin in Chicago.
he spent most of his time working on his memoirs! Unreal, a junior lawyer
spent company time writing his memoirs?

No doubt a minority placement.

From his great legal career, (?) he went on to be a community organizer. The rest we know.

Piss poor resume’ but the 53% loved him..

We “didn’t come from well-to-do backgrounds. We didn’t have famous families,”...

-he lived with his grandparents, his grandmother was a bank officer and probably in the employ of the government, he “somehow” got a full multi-year scholarship to a premier private school, then on to college on someone’s tab. And an unexceptional student all the while.

Now he passes hisseff off as po’ foke, oh Lawdy...

How did *he* pay off his student loans screwing around as a “community organizer”, adjunct college instructor, etc? Did he have any? This guy lies like other people breathe.

“... Calling a college education the “best tool you have to achieve the American promise,” ?????...”

-and what “American Promise”? There is no promise, he just concocted that. His idea of the American way is all of us pulling together like some pack of Reds on a ridiculous Maoist poster.

Keep repeating “American Promise” and sooner or later people will think there really is such a thing.

This is easily countered. All that has to be pointed out is that 1 out of every 2 new graduates can't find a job. Then counter with the question “Why is education becoming so expensive - with costs increasing much faster than inflation?” Then point out how much the endowments are at many universities, and how they are often not paying taxes because they are ‘not-profit’. Paint them as the ‘1%’.

American higher education - as affordable and useful as the Chevy Volt, thanks to government meddling.

the ‘promise of America’ is found in the Constitution

a land of laws and contracts.

a society based on merit... not race, religion, gender or preference. everyone given an equal shot. no guarantees... just a shot, you have to make the best of it. if you screw up and get hosed, then it’s up to the generosity and compassion of your fellow citizens, not the government, if you need a hand up.

a college education was not part of the promise.

of course, part of that promise is that you wouldn’t be beholding to government officials to pay for their constituents. if that were the case, and it’s not evenly applied, then the promise is broken.

either EVERYONE pays 50% tax... or NO ONE should

progressive taxes allow them to set up the class warfare bs

screw them. it’s all unConstitutional, not that anyone cares anymore

I thought some Saudi prince paid for Obama’s college.

How did he get in college anyway. What were his scores?

He went to two of the most expensive colleges in this country, somebody paid for it.Whie he was there he took a trip around the world. Who paid for that?
