I’m a public school teacher. I will look into this. Do you have any experience with Ohio?

I spoke with them. Give them a call and they are ready to help. It would be great if you kept us informed of the progress. They have an attorney who will litigate if the union tries to step on your rights.

Let me give a warning. When the union thugs discover you want to divert dues, they are not going to be pleased. Several may come to visit you and try to intimidate you. If you have a couple teachers who want to join you, it would make it easier for you. You can either demand a refund for the portion of dues used for political purposes (which could well be over half your dues), or have the full amount sent to a charity. They will give 3-5 choices of where you can send it, but you can also present you own. It is doubtful that they would say no to something like the American Cancer Foundation. Go get ‘em!
