Carter: I’m comfortable with a Romney win
Hot Air ^ | April 25, 2012 | Ed Morrissey

Via Greg Hengler, I’m … kind of torn on this one. On one hand, it plays into every fear among the conservative base of the GOP about Mitt Romney. On the other hand, the statement from the man formerly known as the worst American President in modern times makes it very, very difficult for Team Obama to succeed in using the advice given by the only other Democratic President in the last 40+ years to paint Romney as The Mostest Radicalist Scariest Right-Winger Since Barry Goldwater Nearly Nuked The Nation. I’d bet, under the circumstances, that Mitt Romney will be happier than Barack Obama with Jimmy Carter’s assessment of the general election in 2012, or at least less unhappy:

There you go. There’s the icing on the cake.

Vote Romney, he’s the choice of Jimmy Carter.

Another-words, even the dolt Carter knows Romney is a Leftist plant.

Hey Card, hey Rove, hey RNC, you folks should be proud. Even Jimmy Carter is more politically savvy than you are.

Well, that fits like a glove.

Romney has McCain’s endorsement and now this.... it’s a wrap.

Republicans = Democrats = No Difference!
There is on ONE party called two different things Rep. and Dem...all actions in the past few years make it painfully
obvious they are all on just ONE team. They are the ruling class and carefully bump into each other to appear different
without upsetting all the goodies and powers they have collected for themselves!

A vote for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil.

That’s been the book on Jimmah for a long time. Scratch the surface and you find an old pre-Civil Rights boll weevil Democrat racist who never really came to terms with the changes but put up a good front. (certainly fits the other buzz out there about Carter, that he’s a huge phony).

My guess is he has never been a fan of having a black man in the White House all along.
