Pentagon halts class teaching anti-Islam material

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Pentagon has suspended a course for military officers that officials say contained inflammatory material about Islam.

Defense Department spokesman Capt. John Kirby said Wednesday that among problems with the course taught at Norfolk, Va., was a presentation that asserted the United States is at war with Islam.

A distorted view of islam?? They still teach kill the christian and jew...stone their wives, sell their children and fly planes in our buildings. What will it take??

Maybe the United States isn’t at war with Islam but Islam is definitely at war with the United States, and the rest of the infidel world.

Kirby noted that officials across two American administrations have stressed that the U.S. is at war with terrorists who have a distorted view of the religion.

And this is a primary reason why our Armed Forces will fail...their leaders don’t really know or understand the enemy they are fighting.

No country today has a military as well armed and as well trained as America. No Military in the world today can go toe to toe with our military. However, if our Military leaders, including the CinC, don’t know the enemy and direct our military to kill that enemy, then our Military can not win.

This pains me greatly. My family has been serving this country since the Revolutionary War in the military. I served in the Navy in the Cold War. My uncles were in WWII. My Dad was in Korea and now my son is in Afghanistan. I want the military to destroy our enemies, but I’m sickened that currently they can not because of their political leadership (and that goes back to W also).

It’s quite sad to witness the collapse of America. God gave us so much and now our leaders are throwing it away.

The one thing that should be intuitively obvious to our leaders is that our enemies are Muslims. Duh! Unfortunately, PCness has the leaders saying that radicals have highjacked an otherwise peaceful religion. Yeah, right!

Bush missed the opportunity for pointing out exactly who was our enemy and then listing the potential targets if the "peaceful" Muslims didn't comply. Those targets being Mecca and Medina. If those cities would be destroyed by America it would prove that Allah is either impotent or weaker then America. Besides that if Mecca is destroyed then one of the pillars of Islam (the path to Heaven) is destroyed (the Haj).

In WWII we destroyed the Japanese religious radicals by proving that their king was not a god, we should use the same approach with Islam.
