I moved last year from Seattle to a little fishing village on the Georgia coast. It was a good move.

Have you gotten used to the heat yet?  That is pretty much the only thing that worries me about such a move...as a Seattle native, I'm acclimated to 55 degrees with a light, irritating drizzle for nine months of every year and I was VERY impressed by the heat and humidity of The South.  There were days when I would step out of the air-conditioned stoatmobile and all I could say was "WOW!" as the heat hit me like a sledgehammer  ;-)

We've been in a drought for a few years, so the heat tends to be dry most of the time. But last year we had the hottest summer since they started keeping records in 1874. I went from my air conditioned condo to my air conditioned car to my air conditioned destination.

The thing I miss most is my favorite Asian restaurants.
